PROJECT ABOUT:
“Rediscovery” the other side of Georgetown through the traditional trades allocated around the city.
AIM & OBJECTIVE:
To promote the traditional trades and highlight their specialty as a way to enhance their business in everyday life and let the young peoples to know them.
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
The traditional trades business was decreasing and it will be disqualified few years later. The traditional skills will be replaced by machine and technology. Our next generation will not have the chance to know and recognize these precious traditional trades.
DESIGN STRATEGY:
Increase the visibility and business of the traditional trades
To highlight the essence and specialties of the traditional skills and their products.
DESIGN SOLUTION:
Create and design a fun pop-up booklet to attract people to explore and discover about the specialty of traditional trade.
WHO/WHAT IS IT FOR:
Local people (especially young peoples)
